We were having the hardest time getting Leland to brush his teeth.  He loved it at first, but just like the terrible 3's, he all the sudden didn't like to do it without pitching a huge fit.  I put his step stool in the bathroom and it seems to be working.  I let him brush after I brush, so it's getting better.

At the park

Watching a movie with Mommy in bed.

The night before our diaper shower, a good friend from High School drove up from Mobile to stay the night with us.  We had to run in Wal-Mart to run an errand before dinner.  She picked up an umbrella for her little man as a surprise, so of course Leland had to have one as well.  He LOVES it!

Last Tues, I took Leland for his 3 year check-up.  He is perfectly healthy, other than the fact that he doesn't eat.  He is PICKY!!!  He eats like a bird and won't touch stuff he does like at times.  He weighted in at 35lbs and is 38.3 inches tall.  They caught him on a heavy day because I weigh him here at the house and he goes between 33 and 35.  Again, depending on how much he eats within a few days.

After the Doctor, we went to get him a new pair of tennis shoes for school.  He is seriously the hardest kid to fit because he was blessed with overly flat feet like his Daddy.  We went through 3 pairs (bought 3, returned 2) before finding a pair that fit good without rubbing his feet or ankle.

Leland likes to pretend like he is "working" like me!

This little chatter box keeps us laughing!!  He learns new stuff every hour and has a great sense of humor.  He will tell you exactly what he wants and how he wants it....he gets that honest!

He keeps patting my belly while saying, "Laken, you come out yet"?

We ask him when baby Brother is going to be here and he always says, "Two weeks"!

He is a little copy cat and will copy anything he sees you say or do.  The most embarassing thing he has said so far is "beer".  For the longest time he thought that beer was "juice", but he must have overheard the correct term and now says while holding his cup, "I've got my juice beer".  It's overly embarassing, but I pay no attention to him when he does it in hopes that it will pass quickly!
