Our first week home with 2 kids has been interesting to say the least. Jason has been in Atlanta for a business meeting most of the week, so I was here alone with a 3 year old and a NB. GiGi came to take Leland to school Tuesday and pick him up.
Late Tuesday night, he started running a fever and was very congested. GiGi came back Wed to take him to the doctor, only to find he had a double ear infection. He's been on an antibiotic since, but is still very congested.
Laken is doing great! He has slept 2 6 hour stretches and 1 7 hour stretch in the past 4 days. The downside is he nurses what seems to be non-stop in the mornings after sleeping and then takes a long afternoon nap.
Leland is doing very well. Jason nor Leland understand the concept of being quiet when the baby is trying to go to sleep, and that is my number one frustration!
Leland loves his little Brother and loves to hold him. Last night was the greatest night we have had....I read books to both boys in our bed. I held Laken, who fell asleep while I was reading and Leland was cuddled right up next to us!

- Jason and I were married on March 1, 2008. We are each others best friend and wouldn't trade our lives for anything! Jason was born and raised in Newnan, GA and I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL where we now live. We have an awesome family that is always there for us. We had a beautiful baby boy, Leland Matthew, on July 22, 2009. He is now growing like a weed and so much fun! We have a very hectic life, but we love it! We take everything that God gives us and deal with it the best we can. We know he has a plan for our family and can't wait to see what the future brings!!
