Leland had a good week at school last week. He still screamed from the time he was getting dressed until he was in the classroom, but when I picked him up, he was happy and couldn't stop talking about what he did each day. On Tuesday they did firework paintings and had bomb pops for snack in celebration of the 4th.
Wednesday, Leland and I headed down to the farm to spend the day with our cousins. He had a blast playing with Austin (12), Kaycee (3), and the "babies" Lily and Lane (11 months). I had some good adult conversation time! We stopped to have dinner with my Dad (Paw Paw) at good ole Taco Bell. Don't laugh! It was the only thing open in their small town on a Holiday!
On Thursday, Leland painted a frog puppet that he loves! The color of the week was green and he is now obsessed with pretending he is a frog!
It is amazing how much he talks, remembers. He will carry on a complete conversation.
