We went down to the farm Christmas Eve to have Christmas with the Riley side of the family. It amazes me how Leland knows where we are going and recognizes places. I told him we were going to the farm and he immediately started naming names, saying, "MOO", and talking about tractas!
Papaw got him his very own pedal tracta and he LOVES it!!
Miss Kaycee was perfectly happy with her Dora chair and didn't care about any other present!
Leland also got a big car track from his Uncle Bob that was a royal pain to put together, but Leland loves it. He also got a huge box of wooden blocks from his cousins!
Everyone got a riding toy and thankfully it was a decently warm day for them to get outside.
Does this little boy remind you of anyone??! This is Brayden and he will be 4 in January. Leland and Brayden could pass for twins and should have been Brothers instead of cousins!!
Baby Lane fell asleep in my arms. So sweet! I miss the little baby days....SOMETIMES!!
Baby Lily! She is such an alert 4 month old. She talks up a storm and cat naps so she doesn't miss any action!
Leland was in Heaven playing with all of his cousins. He was fast asleep within 5 miles of the farm and slept the whole hour or so home!

About Me
- Life of the Rooks
- Jason and I were married on March 1, 2008. We are each others best friend and wouldn't trade our lives for anything! Jason was born and raised in Newnan, GA and I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL where we now live. We have an awesome family that is always there for us. We had a beautiful baby boy, Leland Matthew, on July 22, 2009. He is now growing like a weed and so much fun! We have a very hectic life, but we love it! We take everything that God gives us and deal with it the best we can. We know he has a plan for our family and can't wait to see what the future brings!!
