15 month check-up...
Leland,
I can not say what a wonderful baby you are enough! You are such a joy and you light up everyone's day! You are learning so much! Your vocabulary is growing and growing. Your little finger constantly points to everything as you say, "This"?!
You have a huge vocabulary of small words, but you have learned 2 big words, Dutchess and turkey.
You are still not walking, but you get anywhere you want to be by crawling! While at the beach this past week, you crawled as fast as everyone could walk on the beach! You did, however, learn how to walk in your walker yesterday. Thanks goodness for good weather in the afternoons because we will be going outside for you to practice!
You are such a loving child and you have the most humble personality! We love you very much and can't believe how fast you are growing!!
Today at the doctor you got 3 shots. You did not cry much, but I know they hurt! You weighed 25 lbs 6 oz and were 32" tall!!
Boo at the Zoo!
We took Leland to Boo at the Zoo Sunday night. It was his first time trick or treating! He was kind of tired from no nap, but he had fun! It did not take him long at all to figure out that people were putting stuff in his bag!
I LOVED the train as usual and liked the backwards carosel, but I think he prefers to go forward!
We attempted to get his face painted, but he wasn't having it! He was suposed to get a caterpillar, but it turned out more like a snake.

Carving Pumpkins!
We have several pumpkins, but we carved one special yesterday! See the below photo!!
Leland loved his walker when we first got it, but never figured out how to "walk" in it. Then he got to a point where he didn't even want to be in it. Yesterday, I put him in it outside while we carved the big pumpkin. After about 5 minutes of figuring out how to go backwards, he was running forwards and turning the walker to go where he wanted!! Maybe there is hope of this child walking before he is 10!
I will post a video in a bit!

Morgan Creek Winery and Old Bakers Farm....
Saturday, we went to Harpersville, AL to the Morgan Creek Winery. It is so pretty! It is a family owned winery and they sell to over 400 grocery stores in AL and all over the Southeast and other states. Their wine is great!! We all personally liked the Regal Red (I am NOT a red wine drinker, but this one is great!), Carlos, Semi Sweet Blueberry, and Blush. If you ever see it in your grocery store, pick up a bottle!
Our little scarecrow!
Before the winery, we went the the Old Baker Farm to the pumpkin patch for the 2nd year in a row. I love it there! In my opinion, it is well worth the money, unlike some patches! They hay ride is long and they have a HUGE patch!
We had seats right behind the tractor on the wagon and Leland was in Heaven! He LOVES tractors, cars, and basically anything that moves and makes a noise!
