Shocked!

I lay Leland down for tummy time several times a day. Usually he will stay happy for 10-15 min max and either cry or fall asleep. Today, I put him down and went into the kitchen to clean up a bit. I heard him cooing and making all kinds of noises and walked back into the living room to find him trying his hardest to roll over!! These pictures don't do it justice, but his whole left side was off of the floor!! He is growing up too fast!
He wore himself out from all that work!

I'm ready for football season!!....

WAR EAGLE Daddy!!!

Thank You Granny and Grandad for the outfit! I am a little chubby, so I only got to wear it once! It was perfect for the cooler weather we had over the weekend!


Tummy Time!! We may have a thumb sucker! If there is no paci in sight, he goes straight for the thumb! I immediately move his hand because I do not want this to become a habit! Don't those eyes just melt your heart!!

Bath Time!!

Leland LOVES bath time! He gets a big boy bath now every night in the bath tub instead of on the kitchen counter. He has a rubber ducky and I know he can't play with it, but his big brother Tisyn wants it so bad he can't stand it!! Every night, Tisyn sticks his big head over the tub and entertains Leland while I bathe him! Tisyn LOVES to get a bath as well, so when Leland gets big enough to splash around and play with toys, Tisyn is really going to be jealous!!

1 Month Old!!

So our little punkin is already a month old! Time has flown by this past month, but been amazing as well. Leland is still such a great baby. We are blessed for that. He is so active and alert for his age. He has been this way since the first week, but now he is smiling and cooing all the time! It just makes my day to see him smile.

We are still not sleeping through the night. He has had a few 4 1/2 hour stretches, but usually we get up every 3 to 3 1/2 hours. He is growing like a weed. He was 20 inches long when he was born and is already at 22. I am not sure what he weighs. We are swapping pediatricians, so as soon as he has his appointment at the end of this week, we will find out. If I had to guess, I would say 9lbs +. He just out grew his newborn clothes this week and is now into size 1 diapers. His 3 month clothes are still big, but I am sure they will fit perfect in no time!

I am still amazed that he was inside of me. He is definitely a gift from God. Even though times are rough for Jason and I, he makes every day worth it.

Tisyn used to be the most photogenic dog ever. Now, he is fully aware what a camera is, and will not let you take his picture. He will turn his head or roll completely over. SPOILED!!!!

Photos in the Garden!

On Saturday, Treacy and Matt came down to go to the Botanical Gardens with us. She took some beautiful pictures of our new family! Leland slept through the whole thing! (sorry I can't figure out how to delete link that is appearng. It does not show on the draft!)

Play Date!

Leland had his second play date of the week. Earlier this week we went to visit my best friend's baby, Parker Bryant, that was born one week after Leland. Today, we went to visit my old assistant's 6 week old baby Christian. They slept the majority of the time, but they are still both precious! I am sure they will be good friends as they get older!
